About
The 8th Armored Division, nicknamed ‘The Thundering Herd,’ served in the European Theater earning campaign ribbons for the Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe campaigns during WWII.

Open to veterans, descendants of veterans, researchers, teachers, students of WWII history, and members of veterans’ organizations.
