The Air Commando Association serves Air Commandos—individuals who have served or currently serve in Air Commando units. The organization describes itself as a ‘Tribe of Tribes’ encompassing different weapon systems and career fields.

What Organization Does

Direct financial support to families, annual scholarship awards for family members and AFJROTC cadets, emergency travel assistance, mental health support through the ‘Sound Off’ program, publishing the Air Commando Journal, and maintaining a Hall of Fame.

Founded in 1969, the ACA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to filling unmet needs of Air Commando families while honoring shared heritage from WWII through present day.

Membership Eligibility

Individuals who serve with or have served in an Air Commando unit qualify for membership. The organization emphasizes ‘Once an Air Commando, Always an Air Commando.’
